The Experience.
We’re willing to bet that if you brew your own wine here once, you’ll love the experience so much you’ll become a regular customer and a welcome member of our “extended” family.
Why?
We’re locally owned and owner-operated.
That means we’re truly invested in our business, we’re in our business every day, and we take pride in working one to one with the people in our local community.
We’re WSET certified.
WSET, or “Wine & Spirit Education Trust” is a special training certification that we undergo to make us uniquely qualified to help you choose the wine that’s “just right” for you. And considering the investment of time and money that goes into making your wine, I think you’ll agree that’s very important.
We’ve got great wines.
Let’s face it… great customer service and friendly faces can only go so far. You need a great product too! Well, we’ve got that.
We guarantee your satisfaction.
That’s right; you’re guaranteed to love every batch of wine you brew at The Cellar Door and in the very, very unlikely event that you don’t, we’ll brew up a new batch for you at no extra charge!

Our Customers Say…
Sarah and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. I have been coming here for my wine for a few years and would highly recommend it for the beginner to the expert wine makers.
Great service every time!

The 3-Step Brewing Process.
Step 1: The Consultation
For new clients, this is arguably the most critical step in the wine making process. It gives us a chance to get to know you, your likes and dislikes, and what you’re looking for in a wine.
Through a friendly, informal process we point you towards the varieties and vintages best suited to your tastes and preferences.
And because we’re WSET (“Wine & Spirit Education Trust”) certified, you can be sure you’ll always be pleased with the results of your wine making kits.
Step 2: It’s Brew Time!
Once you’ve decided on the wine you’ll be brewing, it’s time to mix up your batch.
It’s a relatively simple process, and we’ll help you from step A through to the end. Once this has been completed, it’s time to sit back and let time work its magic.
Depending on the type of wine you’re making, your wine will be ready in 4-8 weeks (some of our ultra premium private reserve kits take up to 8 weeks before they’re ready, while some of fresh and fun fruit wines are ready is as little as 4).
Step 3: Labeling and Bottling
Finally!
You’ve patiently counted off the days waiting for your wine to age and now the day has arrived – it’s ready!
Before you bring it home, it’s time to book one final appointment with us… to bottle and label your wine.
This is always the second-best part of brewing your own wine. The best part, of course, is drinking it!
